Although I agree that using the word "refugee" certainly makes light of the real refugees of the world, I wouldn't say that TikTok is just and only a drug-like habit that needs to be kicked. Many communities have been built there that have made genuine impact for the better. All social media can be used for good or for ill--it's a tool like anything else.
